This is amazing. And from the 11th minute of the Leeds match today, fans chanted “Gary Speed” for 11 minutes and during that time, Leeds scored the first of 4 goals. I was too young to even know who he was when he played for Leeds but he was on one of the posters I had on my wall as a kid (yeah I used to have football posters, blame the father! I think he just wanted to make sure I didn’t turn into a Man U fan like my brother :’) ) His death just goes to show that no matter how “happy” and successful someone seems to be, you never can tell what’s going on in anyone else’s head…..
